How to get people to subscribe to your RSS feed.

I get comments all of the time on my blogs that ask me how to get updates or subscribe to the site.
For people that have been around a while, this is simple and comes second nature.

My recommendation is to have some instructions on your blog somewhere that gives an explanation to the reader on how to sign up or get your RSS feed.

You can even push your RSS feed out to some directories so you can get your message out there.

If you are looking for a database that has actual, real Blog RSS Feeds,
you have to check out Feedbase.net.

It's a very cool site and it verifies the legitimacy of an RSS Feed so you know you aren't just getting some junk site.

Just click the link below to go to the site and check it out.

How to Legally Get Employees to Work for You For Free

Most investors and business owners have heard about when you add an employee to your team, it does not actually cost you money.

The reasoning is simple. If you add someone, they should be adding so much value to your organization that you actually generate enough additional revenue that the employees wages are actually covered well beyond the amount you are paying them.

It's a multiplier effect. Now, if you don't have a good plan for that employee or contractor, they will not add enough value to generate revenue. That is most likely your fault. If you don't give them enough to do, it's definitely your fault. Sure, sometimes you will get a shining star that will go above and beyond what you ask and find things to do that create value, but ultimately, it rests on your shoulders.

So, have a plan on what you are going to have that new team member do for your business.

Top Five Ways to find Wholesale Buyers and Rehabbers for your junker property

There are many ways to uncover buyers for your real estate projects.
If you are looking for wholesale buyers to add to your buyers list, you need many different sources.
Here are my top five choices.
  1. Look in the newspaper (Yep, this IS the FIRST spot to look) Crazy eh? It also requires you to do a little grunt work. i.e. you have to buy a paper and look for the 5-10 people that are actually advertising. Then... gasp... you have to call them or go to their website. Get over yourself and get this done. Maybe you will spend 30-60 minutes contacting these folks. One thing I did when I was first starting out was grab several back copies of the local paper. Then I was able to go through and see who was advertising a "We Buy Houses" type of ad. If they are advertising, there's a pretty darn good chance that they are actively buying right now.
  2. Place an ad on Craigslist in the closest major city near the property you are looking for. Be sure to put a phone number and preferably a website address that someone can look at to learn more about you. Don't let the website thing stop you though. You DO NOT need one when youare just starting out. However, it's like a resume when you go on a job interview. If you have one, people WILL be more impressed and see that you are serious about this business. You can start out with just a blogger.com site or some other site. You want to get to a point where you have your own domain name and your own e-mail address for branding purposes. THis makes you look MUCH more professional. If you have invested the time and money in this aspect of your business, it shows that you are not as likely to be some fly by night company.
  3. Get some bandit signs. Go to http://banditsigns.com
  4. Get business cards. You can grab them free at http://VistaPrint.com Post your business cards on community bulletin boards.
  5. Print some eye-catching flyers with Tear-off tabs at the bottom with your contact info. Do NOT use white. It will blend in way to easily with everything else. I recommend bright yellow with black letters. People will likely grab your business cards first, but the tear tabs will be there when your cards are gone.
